Thank you for drafting a federal autism insurance mandate in 2008, Mr. President. However it is time to move forward with it. You have already done much of the work so now it is just presenting and signing it into law. With all the changes you have done to healthcare I would deem this one of the most important ones you can do. There are thousands of children that are not getting the help they need. Insurance companies are declining the care they need. This is not something that is going to go away. Autism is for life. With proper treatment and therapy these children can go on to be productive citizens. They cannot do this without proper treatment though. You clearly know this after taking the time to draft a federal mandate for Autism back in 2008. Please help these children.
