Halloween is a fun holiday for kids. It brings families together and is a great tradition. However, the day after Halloween is brutal for schools and hard for kids. In addition, Halloween is no longer associated with "all hallows eve" in any meaningful way. It doesn't (and shouldn't) be a national day off, but by simply moving Halloween to a Friday assures optimal learning for students. It would also mean families can spend more time enjoying themselves.
