move from an income tax, to a national sales tax in order to eliminate the loop-holes and make all people equal.

Created by D.M. on November 28, 2012

Doing away with the outdated income tax, in favor of a national sales tax would; eliminate tax loop-holes. Would also level the playing field. Those that make more money, and buy more goods would pay more taxes. A national sales tax would also tax people at the same rate, no matter what they earn. Medical care, prescriptions, and food should be excluded, to help with the poor and elderly. Since, states already have sales taxes, a system is already in place and should be easy to modify to accommodate the addition of a national/federal sales tax.
