Not only has lobbying and corporate interests had a harmful effect on our economy and our workers and consumers rights. It also takes up much of the time of our representatives, effectively silencing the voice of anyone who isnt paying to be heard.
Today politician deal almost exclusively in corporate affairs and have gone deaf to the needs and the requests of the people who so desperately depend on them to restore a more balanced economy. There should be no short cuts to having your voice heard by government.
