Move Presidents Day to the Monday immediately after the Super Bowl. Families and friends can gather together without concern for school and work the next day. The Monday after the game is very unproductive due to eating and celebrating causing lateness, lack of rest, poor concentrating in the classroom, etc.
There will be no rush to get home. Fathers, mothers, sons and daughters and friends can be together longer. Celebrate without the stress of work, school the next morning.
The Bowl and Presidents Day are uniquely American. Thus creating the Great American weekend honoring the highest office and the greatest of games.This can increase awareness of the Office of President and the Great men who served. And business can focus on sales, concurrently, to both issues.
