We the People of the United States request that President’s Day be moved to the first Monday in February to coincide with the Super Bowl. Traditions unite this country so let’s unite sports and politics. Lincoln’s birthday was February 12th and Washington’s birthday was the 22nd so the day is arbitrary. Having Monday as a holiday would allow many Americans to spend more quality time with their family and friends without having to worry about working the next day and being less effective at their jobs or school. It is an easy fix to balance our busy lives.
