Each year, almost 150 million people spend Super Bowl Sunday together, enjoying one of the world's largest sporting events and a piece of American culture. The next day, productivity and efficiency are down across the board as people return to work tired and spend a majority of the day discussing the game, halftime show, and commercials. I believe that it would be beneficial to everyone involved if Presidents Day, which is currently set as the 3rd Monday in February, was moved to the first Monday instead in order to coincide with the Super Bowl. This would create a new 3-day weekend that would increase productivity and reduce a wasted Monday.
