Every year, so much productivity is wasted due to the huge number of call-ins and vacation days used by US employees because of the Super Bowl. Having it held on a Sunday, in the evening, seems like the worst idea ever. Many will fall on the word 'tradition' as to why this day has been kept throughout its history. However, it seems to make perfect sense to mandate that such an important fixture in American culture be moved to increase the number citizens (and spectators world wide) who can fully enjoy this once a year event. I propose that Congress mandate that the Super Bowl be moved to Saturday for all future Super Bowls.
