Millions of Americans annually watch the Super Bowl on the first Sunday of every February. It's a time to rejoice, celebrate, and feud with family and friends. It's an American holiday. However, many parties are held that last into the morning. Americans are then expected to attend work or school, four or five hours later. This leads to an extremely unproductive work day. As Americans, we can not, and should not, be subject to an unproductive work day. The American character is defined by a strong work ethic. Unfortunately, the Super Bowl leads to an unproductive Monday. To maintain our reputation, we are entitled to a recovery day. It is only fair that the Super Bowl be held on a Saturday. It's the American thing to do.
