Move Thanksgiving to the third Friday in November.

Created by D.H. on November 26, 2014

A National Day of Thanksgiving has a long storied history in America and to preserve the original intent and meaning of the holiday it should be moved to the fourth Friday in November.

Increasingly, Americans are having to work on the Friday following Thanksgiving. This has created many limitations for the average American to properly celebrate Thanksgiving with close friends and family.

Moving Thanksgiving to be in conjunction with the weekend would grant more flexibility for people to travel, rest, and properly reflect on what we are thankful for.
