We the People of the United States of America humbly request that the Daylight Savings Time change be moved from the second Sunday of March to the second Friday of March. This change would allow the citizens of the United States a full weekend to recuperate from the loss of an hour. Studies have shown that the rate of car crashes increase by six percent on the Monday following the time change. This slight adjustment to Daylight Savings Time would greatly increase the overall safety and well-being of the citizens of the United States of America.
