The US Forest Service is currently under the USDA while all other federal land agencies are under DOI. This has led to poor management of our public lands. The USDA needs to focus on our nations food supply and ensure, efficient farming practices will meet these needs Let land management decisions reside under the DOI. Currently two Cabinet level secretaries needs to be consulted on any major land management issue including our nations water supplies, the management of wildfires, and anything that has to do with resource extraction. This is a waste of tax payers monies!
