Veteran's Day currently takes a back seat to Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day solely because it falls in a cold month where citizens are unable or unwilling to celebrate outdoors.
We propose moving Veterans' day to August 15, the anniversary of VJ Day. Celebrating Veteran's Day in the summer will allow Americans to hold proper celebrations.
