Move vital sections of the governments out of Washington D.C

In the event of a terrorist attack in the city of Washington D.C the country could economically collapse almost overnight. We may become unable to come to the aid of allies should something bad happen. The U.S government should move vital branches to undisclosed locations, not keeping any two close enough to each other for a single strike to destroy both of them.
