It is scientifically proven that teenagers are able to function better later in the morning as hormones change. Our school day officially starts at 7:38 and during daylight savings, it's still dark out. It is really hard to get going and we are unable to give it our all until about third period. I believe the school day should start at 8:30 am and end around 3:45. This will allow us to wake up and actually participate in morning courses.
