Mr. Kevin Cooper is currently placed on death row and has been wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit via 1983

Created by T.M. on July 22, 2016

An innocent man; Kevin Cooper has been wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit. He has been placed in prison since 1983 and is a death row candidate. Based on the trial it has been shown that the evidence used to convict him has been tainted, thrown out and destroyed. The only survivor of the crime was a 9 year old child; Josh Ryen who spoke out to a social worker admitting the killers were 3-4 white men. However, Mr. Cooper a black man was convicted. The only way this man can be freed is through Governor Jerry Brown granting him his freedom. Multiple judges and concerned citizens have already joined by voicing their opinions and sending in multiple letters to the governor. His execution is set within 3-4 weeks and needs to be acted upon before the loss of another innocent man.
