We are simply asking for the President's attendance at a huge rally. There is still much work to be done, as Latino's and Blacks are disproportionately targeted by police, and their rights abused. There are rampant abuses of
the 4th amendment and 14th are evident in stop and frisk and civil forfeiture. We appreciate the work that Holder has done to remove mandatory minimums, but more work is needed.
Stop and frisk continues, civil forfeitures continue, and as the President himself once noted, blacks and Latinos are pulled over disproportionately, serve longer sentences. In two seperate cases in the last year, the NYPD has broken into homes without a warrant, and killing innocent victims. (both black males)
