We implore the leaders of our government to actively engage fighting to end the militant group, ISIS. This group has actively sought to destroy lives-- both through human life and the destruction of their culture. They are actively destroying ancient pieces of the world's culture. These sites are just as important to the American culture as they are to the Middle Eastern-- they are the WORLD's culture and have helped to form ALL cultures over the last six millennia.
As a world power, we have a duty and a responsibility to protect those weaker than us. We honor our own heritage and we need to do the same to honor the heritage of our brothers and sisters worldwide.
