Mr President, Arm our military members who have community interactions and posts, Recruit Depot, and off base posts.

Allow active duty Officers, SNCO'S and NCO'S to carry duty issued side arms while in uniform, in conjunction with federal firearms laws, as any federal official would have access to in the line of duty to protect themselves, their post and everything within sight and view of that post. Make no mistake the threats are real, men and women in uniform are targets. With proper training and engagement training and reaction training this is possible. Our current threat level and recent attack(s) demands this. We are at WAR. There are groups and individuals who want to kill Americans, especially those in uniform and those who are afiliated.
