In 1984, The "Ma Bell" monopoly was broken up by the US Department of Justice. More than 30 years later AT&T is attempting to reform a very different and potentially much more consumer unfriendly monopoly involving its $80 billion merger with Time Warner. Mr. President, I and the others signing this petition request you use your authority to direct the Justice Department to investigate this consumer unfriendly merger.
