As stated by Frmr. V.P. Cheney, the President Of The United States “could launch the kind of devastating attack the world has never seen. He doesn’t have to check with anybody.” As you stated when speaking of President-Elect Trump, "if somebody can’t handle a twitter account, they can’t handle the nuclear codes."
Mr. President, revamp the nuclear control and command system such that:
-A nuclear first-strike requires a congressional declaration of war.
-The deployment of nuclear weapons requires a presidential order that is seconded by officials who cannot be appointed or discharged by the president, and that are outside of his/her command.
Mr. President, do not let someone that you deemed "unfit" and a "demagogue" have unchecked nuclear power at his fingertips.
