Mr. President, as a young Airborne soldier one of the first things I learned was to lead by example, I would never ask one of my soldiers to do something I could or would not do. It would appear that Harvard teaches the "do as I say, not as I do" approach to leadership.
Mr. President, if you truly feel the need to ban "assault" weapons and high capacity magazines then lead by example! Immediately issue an executive order, followed by legislation, that all federal and state law enforcement agencies, to include the Secret Service,must surrender their assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
Since the Secret Service has never had to use their weapons to protect your life, arming them with revolvers should be sufficient for your security.
Lead by example Mr. President.
