Mr. President Obama and the FDA we won't eat GMO salmon!

Dear President Obama; Member of Congress; FDA Commissioner Hamburg,RE: Docket No. FDA–2011-N-0899 Genetically Engineered Salmon, I urge you to reject the approval of AquaBounty's genetically engineered salmon. As the first transgenic species to be intended for human consumption, AquaBounty's genetically engineered salmon has failed to meet the most basic requirements of peer-reviewed scientific standards. Unfortunately, the FDA has refused to require rigorous independent scientific testing to adequately protect the safety of human health, wild fish populations and the environment. It is unacceptable that consumers continue to be denied their right to know what's in their food and how it's produced.
