The current administration has called for, on multiple occasions, a return to civility in public and political discourse. Concurrently, the administration and affiliated officials have denigrated those with dissenting viewpoints. Irrespective of spin, a precedent has been set.
Mr. President, the American people expect you, as the most powerful man in the world, to conduct yourself above the fray of political mudslinging and name calling. You are POTUS, not the arbitrator of 'legitimate' news. You need to act as a uniting force, as tough as that may be (I don't envy you).
Please apologize to the men and women of Fox News (Rush is on his own, sorry buddy). Fox News may not agree with you, but that isn't your concern. Act presidential, you have four more years.
