Schedule I drugs as defined by the United States Controlled Substances Act
1. The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse. (with THC this has been greatly exaggerated)
2.The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use. (with THC this is blatantly and shockingly untrue)
This classification is hindering medical study permits and costs tax payers needlessly, in the form of unfairly high sentencing. Its classification as such is rumored to be for racial and political reasons by the Nixon administration. It's time to move on and change this to something fair and equitable for what THC and other cannabis related chemicals do. You have been asked before, I am asking again, thank you Mr. president.
