Mr. President, Please Veto Any and All Stop Online Piracy Act or Protect Intellectual Property Act Related Provisions!

Created by G.W. on August 20, 2013

Mr. President,

It has recently come to our attention that the Internet Policy Task Force, a watch dog group for the Chamber of Commerce, has suggested that some provisions of both the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) be passed by Congress.

If you remember the SOPA Blackout of January 18th 2012 over 75,000 websites and social media accounts made their voices heard at their disgust for these two bills. Both of them will cause massive damage to the very fabric of the Internet, to the profits of many Internet corporations, shut down sites like YouTube and Viemo, and to our First Amendment rights.

We, the undersigned, strongly implore you to exercise your powers as President and stop anything related to these two bills from passing your desk.
