To your TPP peers you recently said, "to ensure that TPP is a success, we also have to make sure that all of our people back home understand the benefits." You have failed to do so.
TPP negotiations contradict your 2008 promise vowing "no more secrecy" & to "make our gov't open & transparent so anyone can ensure our business is the people's business" & "meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public".
Leaks of alleged details suggest TPP will harm the environment, deny millions access to affordable medications, cost US jobs & worsen wealth disparity.
The People deserve full disclosure of TPP. We want your guarantee to waive fast-track authority and allow the people we sent to congress on our behalf to thoroughly debate the TPP agreement.
