Mr. President, we may not stop all the violence in the nation but is a start. We need a gun control law.

We need to pass a law that will get assault weapons off the streets and out of the market.
Mr. President now is the time to address this issue of gun control, we cannot grow as a nation when our kids are not safe in school and people are not safe in the streets.
We cannot have people arming themselves with weapons like if we were at war.
No more abusing the second amendment and hiding as collectors of weapons.
