Mr. President,
In your State of the Union address you promised to, "defend the dignity of every human being," and we hope that you stay true to this claim. However there is a vast difference to what you constitute as a human being and what science and ethics would define life as.
You see, in all of our culture we define values by science and ethics (ie Healthcare, Poverty relief etc). But somehow these values cease for the unborn.
It is scientific fact that life begins after fertilization; at 8 weeks a baby has a heartbeat and functioning organs. How is this not seen as life?
See, if we were to define what constitues life for the born the way we do for unborn, we would need to stop hospitals from treating the sick and let them die.
Mr. President, our plea is for you to fight for life
