Mrs. Obama, please bring the Let's Move Garden Tour to Orange Park, Fl on April 23rd to celebrate the one year anniversary of Somer's Garden. As Northeast Florida's first publicly accessible food forest garden, it is serving as a forward thinking example for healthy, low-maintenance sustainable living. The garden is in an area of our country that struggles with food insecurity and food deserts. It is also an incredible story of triumph in the face of unspeakable tragedy. A young life was taken within the walls of the suburban home that used to sit on the same property that now nourishes, educates and heals those within its community. Please let us share our incredible story with you in hopes of inspiring other communities to overcome challenges of all types together.
