Dear President,
I would like to say that during the two Muslim holidays, school should be closed for children so that they can spend time with their families. They should be able to celebrate their holidays and not have to worry about being absent since the NYC Department of Education clearly states that they have set a standard that every child must sustain a 90% attendance for promotion to the next level. People do not want to worry about that. Please consider giving us a break on the two Muslim holidays.
