The State of Illinois Department of Child Support Enforcement and the States' Attorney's Office denied my daughter her rights to services and committed acts of retaliation and discrimination against my daughter who has a disability. It was stated, by the court of law and contained in the parenting agreement that my daughter has special needs and because of these special needs her child support benefits were allowed to be extended, past the age of emancipation, till graduation. Illinois DCSE and the State's Attorney's Office did not feel she was entitled to these accomodations, so they began retaliating against us by denying our benefits. They lowered the child support payments, canceled hearings, refused to abide by the ruling, took away child support altogether, without due process.
