Hello this Corporal Joel Laboy, I would like to tell you a story; since I was a little boy, I had a dream. I had a desire of wanting to join US Army Reserve but they had rejected me numerous times. The main reason why they turned me down was because I was deaf but I am physical and medically healthy. My best friend , Major Ferraro who is hard of hearing volunteer NY State Guard .The US Army HQ contacted me and they approved me to volunteer NY State Guard. I was part of 1/75th Regiment Engineer unit for a year and a half. My wife and I moved to Indiana, transferred to Indiana Guard Reserve HHD for a year and a half. You don't need to be concern about hearing; I have experiences of seeing things and body language.Deaf people in American want join the US Military Branch service. YOU CAN DO IT
