My sister in law is being detained by Immigration

Created by P.D. on November 18, 2011

Dear Mr. President good day
I am petitioning your office on behaf of my wife with regard to my sister in law Bindou Coulibaly A# 087342969. Ms. Bindou had filed for asylium because of the political situation in Cote d'Ivoire her country of nationality. Her case was denied and an appeal was filed to reconsider her petition. After denial of that appeal she relied on her lawyer to submit another appeal within the time frame allowed. To our surprise an officer showed up at our residence without any warrant and took her into custody. I am writing to ask for your assistance for her release until her pending case is re-axamined by the Board of Immigration Appeal. The whole family is worried about her situation. She has high blood pressure and she is refusing to eat and sleep.
Best regards
