Name Admiral Michelle J. Howard, USN to be the next Chief of Naval Operations. She is currently the Vice CNO.

I believe that the current Vice Chief of Naval Operations, ADM Michelle J. Howard, should be the next Chief of Naval Operations. ADM Howard is battle tested, has incredible experience, and has the temperament to guide our Navy into the future. We are attempting to expand the role of women in our military services and there is no better example of this than the Admiral. She is a Naval Academy graduate, she has been at the tip of the spear commanding the Battle Group that rescued CAPT Phillips from Somali pirates and she has served on 7 ships and then the Battle Group. It is time for ADM Howard to be the 31st Chief of Naval Operations.
