Stop brand named pharmaceutical companies from being allowed to delay or prevent generic medications from reaching the market with lower prices. Do not allow them to do the "Pay for Delay" deals which costs our nation $3.5 billion a year!
Legislation needs to be brought forward by Congress to restrict these agreements as they would reduce our national debt by $5 billion during the next 10 years.
Our government as an example pays $300 for a brand name medications that could be bought at $30 for the same generic medications.
