Thomas Edison was a key part in american history. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have light bulbs that lasted for a long time. Many modern discoveries would of been delayed. In fact, the discovery of element 118 would of been delayed. It may of never even been discovered. Element 118 should be named Edisonium because of the glow it gives off. The glow of the element will help Thomas Edison's spirit live on.
