For 236 years, the bright light of freedom has shone across our great land; but, little by little, the long arm of big government casts an ever-extending shadow that threatens to conceal our beloved light.
Big government flexes its muscle in the form of higher taxes, more regulation, Obamacare & the like, and soon we will face the inevitable question: Do we continue to allow ourselves to live in the expanding shadow of the federal government, or do we stand together and push back so that we may once again bathe in freedom? I support the latter.
George Washington once said, "The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon." But what is one to do when the government itself is the offender? Let us drink from the chalice of liberty, or let our future drip away...
