Name a memorial highway on a stretch of I-35 in Edmond Oklahoma in honor of local fallen soldier, 2nd Lt. Jered Ewy

Created by W.S. on July 28, 2015

2nd Lt. Jered Ewy was a member of the Oklahoma army National Guard who on July 29th, 2009, was killed in Afghanistan by an I.E.D. While serving in operation Enduring Freedom. Jered was a wife and father. Jered also was a gymnastics coach in a local gymnastics club. He was dedicated to helping his community and changing the lives of those around him. He left a positive impression on everyone he met. He was a true American hero who had been a major influence in hundreds of people in our community. I believe that the least we can do to honor this hero is to name a 3 mile stretch of I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma after him. This isn't much to ask for; especially when it comes to honoring fallen heroes oversees
