We the true americans,have lost our lands, our people and our roots. Our people have been raped, murdered and almost destroyed . We stand now as a minority on our own lands. Your history books from which you teach do not recognize us as they should. Our story has been denied for too long. It is now time to face your mistakes, admit your wrong doings and make peace. We cannot rewrite history, but we can make it better for those who follow. We know the truth and we will not let it die. We ask that you give us the respect and honor we deserve. Columbus did not discover America, we were here long before. He brought forth deceit, destruction and murder. And yet, you honor him. Give us our day to honor those who brought us to be. Let us honor OUR forefathers.
