The National Rifle Associataion (NRA) has worked very hard to push firearms into our society and to resist any common sense regulations to control them. Due to the extreme number of deaths due to firearms in this country I think it is reasonable to consider them a terrorist organization. If an external group had perpetrated this kind of destruction in our country it would likely be considered an act of war. If the NRA were named a terrorist organization many people would shun them and their activities.
