The U.S.S. Utah (BB-31) was a Battleship in the U.S. Navy from November 1911 to December 1941. She served faithfully in the Atlantic during the First World War interwar period. The Utah was sunk early in the morning around the same time as the famous U.S.S. Arizona.
We respectfully request that a vessal, yet to be commisioned, will be named Utah, to honor the 45th state of the Union.
