The Great Muhammed Ali has stood tall against every aspect of inequality and fought to bring about peace and understanding to our world. Even when he faced oppression in the ring when the Heavy Weight title was stripped from him for refusing to participate in the Vietnam war, Ali did not waiver.
After he retired from boxing, Ali still fought for equality and peace. Fighting for a cure of Parkinson's disease, raising donations for all types of medical treatments.
He was awarded the Medal of Freedom in 2005 and we as a nation would be proud to hear a ship named after the greatest champion on earth, the people's champion Muhammed Ali.
