On June 30, 2013, 19 of the 20 members of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew were killed in the line of duty protecting the town of Yarnell, AZ. We ask the you, Mr. President, recognize their sacrifice by naming the next US Navy LPD the USS Granite Mountain. These men willing laid down their lives protecting lives and property. This unselfish act shows the true meaning of teamwork, dedication, honor, courage and commitment. American Spirit Mr. President, that's what these men showed, true American Spirit. Honor them.
