Name U.S. Navy Submarines after Submarine Medal of Honor Recipients

Created by S.B. on October 08, 2011

There has never been a submarine named for any of the eight Submariner Medal of Honor recipients:

Vice Admiral Lawson P. Ramage
Rear Admiral Eugene B. Fluckey
Rear Admiral Richard H. O'Kane
Captain John P. Cromwell
Captain George L. Street
Commander Samuel D. Dealey
Commander Howard W. Gilmore
Petty Officer Second Class Henry Breault

What better way to take the fight to the enemy than on a ship named for an American Hero?
What better way to inspire all Sailors to perform at their highest potential than by having a tangible, floating representation upon which they can serve?
