We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

National annual MILITARY PARADE in Washington D.C. on Independence Day

Created by A.D. on November 16, 2016

We the people think that the federal government should stage an annual military parade to celebrate our nation's birthday. A military parade similar to the ones in other democracies like Japan, France, Mexico, Spain, UK, South Korea and more would be the appropriate way to celebrate our nation's birthday. Over a century ago military parades were common on national holidays, Abraham Lincoln, Theadore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson and other presidents staged military parades. The people would like the government to make a national military parade a annual tradition. A military parade will not make the United States look like an Authoritarian state because many democracies that I mentioned above hold them annually. A military parade will make Independence Day look like a more important holiday.
