National Bottle Bill- let's recycle all bottles and cans, save resources, the environment and create jobs!

National Bottle Bill- We need to recycle every bottle & can possible. Reusing resources instead of making new ones saves resources & the environment. Recycling centers create new Green Jobs. Currently, over 23 BILLION beverage containers have been put into landfills this year. Why landfills? The Institute says it is a because a combination of our “on-the-go” lifestyle and communities’ lack of public recycling bins has left us holding a container…with nowhere to put it. So we thow it in the trash. According to E Magazine, we threw away 11 billion cans in the 1970′s, 29 billion a yr. in the 1980′s, 35 billion a yr. in the 1990′s, & 46 billion a year since 2000.
That's enough aluminum to make 8000 new 747 planes! Let's create a National Bottle Bill. Pls. sign & share. We can do better!
