Similar to the "sex offender and 'animal abuser' registry", the CHILD ABUSER REGISTRY will list any person convicted of Child Abuse to register. This will provide Parents, Day Care, Schools, and others who care for a child, to research and obtain information on any person seeking to work around or live around children. There is currently no legal manner to obtain such information and child abusers are slipping through the cracks and re- offending unbeknownst to parents and others where child are housed. Child abuse is on a fast and unfortunate rise in our society and we need to do all we can to help fight that abuse. We as adults are the protectors of children even if they are not our own. This new registry is only a instrumental tool to help us in the protection of all our children.
