A National Constitutional Convention to eliminate and prevent deadlock between the Legislative and Executive Branches.

Created by R.W. on December 24, 2012

We petition President Obama to call on the various legislatures of the states to petition Congress to call a new National Constitutional Convention as provided for in Article 5 of the Constitution of the United States. The current deadlock between the House of Representatives and the Executive branch is detrimental to the economic well being of our nation and to the economic well being of every citizen.

The current situation, wherein the Legislative branch and the Executive branch are at odds and working at cross purposes, is a direct result of the separation of powers as provided for in Article 1 and Article 2 of the Constitution.

We the people need to shift the paradigm to another power sharing scheme in order to prevent deadlock.
