The Ideological divide in the USA is clearly insoluble.
We must accept this fact and begin the process of the partitioning of the USA into a "Liberal/Progressive" Nation, and a "Conservative" Nation (As a gesture, I suggest that the Conservatives may even keep the name "USA").
This is obviously a VERY COMPLEX issue, where many Compromises must be made by both sides to achieve their eventual Nations, where the government would be 100% Conservative, or 100% Liberal/Progressive.
As a beginning, the Proposal would be along the lines of existing states that are Liberal/Progressive or Conservative. But obviously concessions from each region would be necessary for each Nation to receive equitable land and geographic features.
But it is time to begin this process.
